Are you planning on proposing some time this year but not sure how to do it?  Are you looking for something different other than he standard get down on one knee? Are you unsure if they will say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ and for this reason would like to put off buying the ring until you are sure? (OK, so this last question is not ideal, but lets be honest it happens…..)

We would be more than happy to be proposed in this way.  Gone are the days of ‘down on one knee’ holding an Elizabeth Duke velveteen ring box.  You need to stand out from the crowd and make a proposal that your chosen lady will remember for time.  However you decide to do it, this would be a great addition.

Stunning Silver Jewelry Inspired by Bali

As you may or may not know, I love to write about things I like, including clothes and accessories.  My chosen items this time around are from a designer called Annie Haak http://www.anniehaakdesigns.co.uk/  Her website states that she gets much of the inspiration for her designs from the magical island of Bali where she is based for most of the year. Her influences are gathered from many aspects of Bali life from the local flora and fauna, the magical people and the colours and patterns found in the local markets and villages.  Perhaps this is why some of the pieces really do appear rather magical!!!

    

Many of the designs carry a special meaning by way of mantras or symbols that represent luck, love, protection strength and well-being. It is core to Annie’s design ethos that all her designs should carry a message of either love or support.

I first came across this designer a couple of years ago when I was reading a spiritual magazine, some of her bracelets incorporating guardian angels were featured in the magazine.  As a total ‘angel believer’ I immediately fell in love with them.  So much so in fact that I cut out her Sama My Guardian Angel design and added it to my collage art work which hangs in my bedroom.

Additionally, I am naturally attracted to silver jewelry.  It appears to suit my skin tone much better than gold.  However, there is now a few gold and rose gold options, which are equally as beautiful, I guess it just depends upon your personal preference.

Unfortunately to date, I have not managed to get my hands on the bracelet stack I so desperately would like (see featured image), due to lack of funds, but should I ever start to get paid for my writing, then I will ensure my first pay check pays for one!  I have however, treated myself to a lovely pair of earrings.  Which I have had now for over a year.  They are simple but lovely, a star with a single diamond in the middle.  They still look like new and we were worth the pounds I spent investing in them.  In addition, they came in a beautiful lined velvet bag and box which I now use to store some of my favourite crystals.  This is a range which when you receive the item, everything about it screams ‘quality’.  I was not disappointed and look forward to when I am able to add to my collection.
