The Liebster Award: Thank you for my nomination!

Wow a huge thank you to ‘The Odd 1 In’ for my nomination for the Liebster Award.  I love the fact that the nominations of this award come from bloggers themselves.  If other writers can read my posts and appreciate them in some way then I can’t be too bad can I….not that I need a confidence boost at all (that’s a lie!).  It is always good to receive feedback in someway and for that reason awards of this type are great so thank you TheOdd1In, I appreciate the nomination whole heartedly!

Well here they are along with my answers:

Do you think you’ll ever stop blogging?  In short, no.  I love writing.  I have been writing for years, but it is only recently that I made the decision to put myself out there.  I love the interaction you receive from blogging and it inspires you to keep going.

Who is your celebrity crush? I have never been one to have celebrity crushes…..I know what is wrong with me right?! However, if I had to choose one it would have to be David Beckham. He is like a fine wine, gets better with age and the fact he appears to be such a devoted husband and father only adds to his appeal.  And oh those tattoos…..and underwear adverts…..OK, maybe I have just a little crush 😉
What is your most embarrassing moment?  I do not get embarrassed very easily but the most embarrassing moment in my life was on my wedding day when my (now ex) fiance ran out of the wedding ceremony in the middle of our vows to be sick because he was so hungover.  The wedding planner felt so sorry for me she offered to film it again!
If you could have one perfect day, to do whatever you liked, what would you do? I would wake up next to the man of my dreams, somewhere exotic like The Caymen Islands, white beaches and clear sea.  We would share a romantic breakfast on the balcony of our sea front hut looking out at the amazing scenery.  We would go for a stroll on the beach, may be take part in some water sport, go back to our room and get ready for the day.  We would walk up to the main resort and walk into the huge room filled with beautiful flowers, where we would meet my children and our family and friends and they would witness our wedding.  We would enjoy the most amazing food, drinks and dance until the sun went down.  (I am not often romantic, but now and again I can manage it)
Would you go into space, given the opportunity? Only if I could take my children and (if I had one) my partner with me.  I recently went on an airplane to Europe with a friend without my children.  We experienced some bad turbulence on the way home and it terrified me.  All I could think about was ‘what will my children do without me.’ It really upset me.
Do you believe in the supernatural? Absolutely, and everything related to it.  Angels in particular.  I receive signs from them on an almost daily basis.  My grandma is often around me, I can feel her energy, in particular when I feel upset.  I have been to see a couple of psychics, and I have had family members visit me with messages.  There is no way that they could have known what they did.  I am not one to give much away….
What was your favourite childhood TV programme?

What is your favourite memory? My favourite memory is the day my son was born, the midwife laid him across my stomach and he actually lifted up his head off my stomach as if to say “Hello world!”

If you had to eat one thing, every day for the rest of your life, what would you choose? My own homemade chilli con carne.  I know this sounds rather big-headed however I have made it so many times I now have the recipe perfect 😀

Do you believe in fate? I certainly do. I am a great believer that everything happens for a reason.

When I was little my favourite teddy was a frog which I lost in a lake whilst boating with my parents

My parents divorced when I was 10 years old.

Even though I have been married I have never been proposed to.

I have a large scar on my stomach from when I suffered a burst appendix.

I once dated a guy whose name was Lightening (yes really)

I have been asked out by a famous comedian

I have been offered money for my used underwear (no I did not accept)

If I could go anywhere in the World I would go to Thailand.

I keep seeings 1’s everywhere i.e 11:11 on the clock, 11 in this award post- 11 questions, 11 facts, 11 nominations…etc, on receipts, on my laptop…the list goes on!

I love lots of music but my favourite band are Oasis.
